Trey Flowers Player Overview

Draft Sharks Bottom Line:

Flowers got off to a sluggish start in his 1st Lions season but turned it on later in the season. The former Patriot tallied just 1 sack and 3 QB hits over his 1st 6 games in a weak front 7. His final 9 contests, however, included 7 with at least 2 QB hits. Flowers still managed only 7 sacks for the season, though, and has yet to top 7.5 through 5 NFL campaigns.

That's his game. He's tough. He'll get into the backfield. But Flowers isn't likely to rack up sacks. He'll help you more in a tackle-heavy fantasy format than he will in balanced or sack-friendly scoring.

The front 7 around him remains questionable, with 3rd-round rookie DE Julian Okwara, free-agent DT Danny Shelton and free-agent LB Jamie Collins the key additions. Meanwhile, DT Damon Harrison and EDGE Devon Kennard are gone.
