Taylor Rapp Player Overview

Draft Sharks Bottom Line:

Rapp delivered a terrific fantasy season as a 2019 rookie, ranking 15th among DBs in scoring (depending on your format). He particularly picked up the pace after S John Johnson went down with a season-ending shoulder injury in Week 6, posting a top-11 scoring average the rest of the way.

Rapp's role figures to change some for 2020. Johnson is back, but S Eric Weddle retired. The Rams also moved on from veteran DC Wade Phillips after 3 seasons and switched to 1st-time coordinator Brandon Staley.

Rapp has also missed training-camp practices with what HC Sean McVay deemed a "minor" knee injury. McVay said he expects Rapp back by the regular-season opener. We'd sure like to see him get back onto the practice field ahead of that.

For now, at least, we've nudged Rapp down the rankings.
