Queen comes with a wide range of potential outcomes this season. We'd prefer to be a little cautious with the rookie, given than he spent less than 1 year as a full-time starter at LSU. Queen entered the Tigers lineup last season only after LB Michael Divinity got suspended.
But Queen balled out after that point, and then he landed in about as good a spot as possible. The Ravens needed a total revamp of their ILBs, and HC John Harbaugh has already said Queen will be a 3-down MLB.
We haven't seen a strong-performing Ravens ILB over a full season since 2017, but C.J. Mosley finished that year atop the fantasy LB rankings. Don Martindale spent the past 2 years as DC, but his cast of ILBs last season wasn't nearly good enough for us to judge his impact on the position's scoring. And Baltimore's suddenly dynamic offense led the defense to play the league's fewest snaps.
Back to Queen: The rookie brings clear upside, but he and the role have questions left to answer. Don't fall in love so much that you overpay.
