Jay Ajayi

Jay Ajayi Player Overview

Ajayi hit the league in 2015 with long-term questions about his repaired right knee, but that hasn't proved to be an issue yet. Broken ribs cost him nearly half of his rookie season. Since then, however, he hasn't lost a game to injury. Ajayi sat out the 2016 opener because of a coach's decision, the result of personality clashes that eventually got him traded to the Eagles. In 2017, Ajayi got 2 byes by way of Hurricane Irma and the mid-season trade. Then he was a healthy scratch in Week 17 after Philly clinched the top playoff seed. He enters 2018 as the lead ball-carrier and best all-around back in a committee backfield on 1 of the league's best offenses.
