Devon Kennard Player Overview

Draft Sharks Bottom Line:

Kennard joined the Cardinals this offseason for basically the same contract he got in Detroit 2 years earlier (a 3-year deal he didn't finish). Kennard tallied 7 sacks each of the past 2 seasons amid a weak Lions pass rush while playing mostly from a rush-end spot. In his age-29 campaign this fall, Kennard might finally be in his ideal situation. He'll play primarily edge LB (rather than as a down lineman) opposite Chandler Jones, 1 of the league's best pass rushers. A solid line and strong ILBs can only help. Kennard doesn't bring a high ceiling but could flirt with 10 sacks if all breaks right.
