Dunlap turned 31 in February. He's bound to start declining at some point. But it didn't come yet.
In fact, he turned it on over the 2nd half of last season, tallying 25 solos, 13 assists, 8 sacks and 7 pass deflections over the final 7 games. That followed a down 1st half that included a pair of missed games.
The arrival of DT D.J. Reader in free agency helps the D-line. And Dunlap brings a long record of reliable production. He remains a strong DL2 with DL1 upside.
