Someone should tell Heyward he's supposed to start declining at some point soon. (Actually, let's not tell him.)
In his age-30 campaign, Heyward registered career highs in tackles, QB hits and Pro Football Focus grade. He has notched his 3 largest sack totals over the past 3 years. As you can tell from his PFF grades in the category, Heyward has actually improved as a pass rusher as his career has progressed ...
The D-line lost Javon Hargrave to free agency but has some interesting prospects vying to replace him. More importantly (arguably), the line gets DE Stephon Tuitt back after a torn pec cost him 10 games.
Combine that with developing talent in the other 2 levels of the defense and Heyward's solid record of production, and this veteran is easy to like low in DL1 range.
