Calais Campbell Player Overview

Draft Sharks Bottom Line:

Campbell showed no signs of slowing down at age 33 in 2019 -- unless the dip in his sack total concerns you. Don't let it. Yes, Campbell fell from 14.5 sacks in 2017 to 10.5 and then 6.5 last year. But his 71 total pressures easily beat his 2018 total (53) and stand behind only his 2017 total (85) as the 2nd-best mark of his career, according to Pro Football Focus. Moving to Baltimore can only help his sack production. Campbell should be in for a starting role with the Ravens, playing amid a stronger front 7 and ahead of a much stronger secondary. Unless he finds a cliff at age 34, Campbell continues to sport 10+ sack upside on top consistent tackle production.
