Giants DT Damon Harrison is questionable to return against the Buccaneers after suffering a bruised right knee.
Raiders CB David Amerson suffered a concussion in Sunday's game against the Broncos. He has been ruled out and will need to complete the league protocol before returning to full action.
Giants DE Olivier Vernon left in the 2nd quarter Sunday against the Buccaneers after aggravating the left ankle injury that knocked him out of the Week 3 loss to the Eagles. He's questionable to return against Tampa Bay.
Raiders WR Michael Crabtree suffered a bruised lung in last Sunday night's loss to the Redskins, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. It'd previously been called only a chest injury. Crabtree was downgraded to doubtful for Week 4 on Saturday night, and Rapoport confirms that he won't play vs. Denver today. It's certainly possible he misses more time beyond that. We'll keep an eye on his status throughout the coming week.
Browns OLB Jamie Collins will miss his 2nd straight game following a Week 2 concussion. He has yet to return for even a limited practice. We'll see about his progression through the league protocol for Week 5.
Jets DE Muhammad Wilkerson has a Grade 1 sprain of the AC joint in his left shoulder, ESPN's Rich Cimini reports. Wilkerson said this week that he might have to deal with the issue all season. He suffered the same injury to his right shoulder as a rookie back in 2011.
Jets RB Matt Forte confirmed that he's dealing with turf toe on his left foot. That's been the thought since we learned x-rays ruled out a broken bone. Forte also revealed that he had the same issue as a rookie back in 2008. That injury didn't cost him any games. This one is expected to. Turf toe has a tendency to linger -- and it's a bigger concern for a 31-year-old RB whose body has already shown signs of breaking down.
Seahawks RB C.J. Prosise is not expected to play against the Colts on Sunday night and is considered "week-to-week" with an ankle injury, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. We don't have any other details on the injury right now. Rapoport says Prosise "had tests" on the ankle earlier this week. Regardless, it's another ailment for a guy who's compiling a lengthy injury history. It's worth noting that Prosise suffered a high-ankle sprain in his final college season in 2015, although it's unclear if this is at all related.
The Bears lost S Quintin Demps to a fractured left forearm in Sunday's win over the Steelers. ESPN's Jeff Dickerson reports that Demps is out "indefinitely" and that HC John Fox said he doesn't know yet whether the safety will head to IR.
After a day of differing reports, it appears that Buccaneers OLB Lavonte David's ankle sprain isn't as bad as initially thought. ESPN's Jenna Laine reported Monday that David suffered a medial sprain to his left ankle in the Week 3 loss to Minnesota and is "week-to-week." HC Dirk Koetter backed that up by saying the injury is "not as bad as it looked or as bad as initially reported." David will reportedly wear a walking boot for the next few days and appears likely to miss at least 1 game. We'll keep an eye on his status beyond that.
Bengals TE Tyler Eifert is expected to miss "multiple weeks" with his back injury, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Eifert doesn't need back surgery "at this time," Schefter adds. It's still unclear if this is related to the back issue that cost him the final 2 games of last season. Either way, multiple back problems in a span of less than a year is a major concern.
Chargers RB Melvin Gordon is dealing with a bone bruise, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "Very minor," Rapoport adds. Gordon was limited in practice last Thursday and Friday -- then missed a chunk of Sunday's loss to the Chiefs. He played just 45% of the offensive snaps but still tallied 79 yards and a score on 17 carries. We'll monitor Gordon's status throughout the week.
Falcons HC Dan Quinn said Monday that WR Julio Jones is dealing with a lower-back injury. Quinn said Jones will be limited in practice this week but expressed no concern about his availability for Sunday's game against the Bills, per ESPN's Vaughn McClure. We'll keep an eye on the situation. Jones played a season-high 85.3% of Atlanta's offensive snaps and tallied a 7-91 line on 12 targets in the win over the Lions.
Philly.com reports that Eagles RB Darren Sproles will have surgery Monday to repair a fractured right wrist suffered in Sunday's win over the Giants. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Sproles also suffered an ACL tear on the same play. The veteran RB will reportedly head for an MRI on the knee after his wrist surgery to confirm the diagnosis. We'll keep an eye out for updates.
Giants DE Olivier Vernon left Sunday's loss to the Eagles with an ankle sprain. He hurt the ankle in the 1st half but played on it for a while before limping off and missing the rest of the day. The team did not know the severity of Vernon's injury after the game. We should find out more this week.
Rams S Lamarcus Joyner will be day-to-day as the team begins practice for Week 4, HC Sean McVay said Friday. Joyner suffered a hamstring strain in the 2nd quarter of Thursday night's win over the Niners. McVay's update suggests it's just a Grade 1 strain, but we'll keep an eye on the situation.
Rams WR Tavon Austin sustained a concussion in the 4th quarter of Thursday night's win over the 49ers. It's the 1st concussion of his career. We'll track his progress through the protocol.
Rams WR Sammy Watkins left in the 4th quarter of Thursday night's game against the 49ers and was diagnosed with a concussion, HC Sean McVay said after the win. It's the 1st concussion of his NFL career, and he'll have 10 days to get cleared ahead of next weekend's game against the Cowboys. We'll track his progress through the protocol.
The Panthers have placed TE Greg Olsen on IR. He underwent surgery on his broken foot on Tuesday. He's eligible to be activated from IR after 8 weeks, so his earliest possible return is Week 11.
The Lions lost MLB Jarrad Davis to a concussion Monday night against the Giants. He'll now have a short week before Sunday's matchup with the Falcons back home. We'd bet on Davis missing at least 1 game.
