Buccaneers DE/OLB Jason Pierre-Paul has been out since a spring car accident caused a neck fracture. ESPN's Jenna Laine reports that doctors have cleared him to begin rehab. She adds, however, that there remains no timetable for his return to the field and that the Bucs "absolutely will not rush this."
Buccaneers DE Jason Pierre-Paul suffered a neck fracture in a single-car accident last week and is expected to require surgery, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Pierre-Paul will be visiting neck specialists later this week, with the hope that he'll be able to return at some point this season. For now, it looks like we can bet on JPP at least missing the beginning of campaign. We'll keep an eye out for further updates.
