Recent Injury Bite

Ravens QB Robert Griffin III suffered a hairline fracture in his right thumb in Saturday's practice. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Griffin will be out 4-8 weeks, while NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says the team expects Griffin to be ready for the regular-season opener. Griffin sustained the injury when his throwing hand hit the helmet of teammate Tim Williams on follow-through.
