ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Rams CB Aqib Talib suffered a high left ankle sprain against the Chargers on Sunday and will miss at least the next month. The 11th-year player has never played a full 16 games in a season, though his lone 2017 miss came because of a suspension for fighting with then Raiders WR Michael Crabtree.
Rams CB Aqib Talib will have surgery Thursday on his left ankle, HC Sean McVay confirmed in a press conference Tuesday. Talib has been diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain. McVay said doctors will determine his recovery timeline after the surgery.
