The Lions on Monday activated DE Ezekiel Ansah from the PUP list, where he had been since the start of training camp. The team officially has yet to disclose his injury, but we're assuming it's related to his spring knee surgery. Ansah is set to play 2018 under the franchise and then hit free agency in the spring.
The Lions activated DE Ezekiel Ansah off the PUP list Friday. Ansah missed all of training camp and the preseason with an injury that the team has refused to specify. Ansah spent nearly all of last season dealing with the fallout from a high ankle sprain, and he has had recurring shoulder issues during his career. We'll keep an eye on his status next week, but Ansah appears on track to play in the opener.
