Eagles MLB Jordan Hicks will miss the rest of the season after rupturing his left Achilles' tendon in Monday night's win over Washington, Philly.com reports. Hicks left the field on a cart after the game's 2nd play. He said afterward that he suffered the injury because he was compensating for an ankle injury that had bothered him since Week 3. This is the 2nd time in 3 years Hicks has hit IR mid-season. He tore his left pectoral muscle in 2015.
Jordan Hicks sustained a minor hand injury while honeymooning in Greece, as reported by several sources. Philly.com notes that Hicks injured his hand when he slipped and fell. His recovery timeline is around 3-4 weeks -- which means he should be ready to go by the start of training camp. Of course, many defenders have played through hand issues (as they aren't required to have great ball skills). His hand injury shouldn't affect Hicks' fantasy value this summer.
