Dolphins RB Jay Ajayi is out of the concussion protocol, HC Adam Gase announced on Sunday. The concussion -- the 1st of his career -- is worth filing away in case he sustains another, but it's a non-factor for his 2017 fantasy football value now.
Dolphins RB Jay Ajayi (concussion) was back participating in individual drills on Sunday, according to the Miami Herald's Armando Salguero. Ajayi remains in the concussion protocol, Salguero notes, but he's moving in the right direction again after possibly suffering a setback. There's still no reason to believe that Ajayi won't be fully cleared ahead of Week 1, but we'll continue to track the situation.
Dolphins RB Jay Ajayi (concussion) did not practice on Saturday after taking part in individual drills earlier this week. "That likely means he suffered a setback in stage 3 of the concussion protocol program," the Sun-Sentinel's Omar Kelly tweeted. It's more of an educated guess than a report from Kelly, but it's certainly concerning that Ajayi still hasn't been cleared nearly 2 weeks after sustaining the concussion.
Dolphins RB Jay Ajayi sustained a concussion in Monday's practice, according to the Miami Herald's Armando Salguero, and will miss "at least" a week. It's the 1st known concussion for Ajayi. He should be cleared in plenty of time for the start of the regular season, which is still more than 5 weeks away. But we'll keep an eye on him -- and file this away if he suffers another concussion at some point.
