Fantasy owners have been desperate to get Megatron back into their lineups
Calvin Johnson – Probable – For the first time in two months, Calvin Johnson fantasy owners have something to celebrate. Megatron is finally healthy and will be in the starting Week 10 lineup against the visiting Dolphins. Miami has a brutal pass defense, but Johnson must be inserted into all fantasy lineups as Stafford will be looking for him on almost every passing down.
Sammy Watkins – Game-Time-Decision – In a complete turnaround, the Bills are expressing optimism that Sammy Watkins might actually be in Buffalo’s Week 10 lineup against the visiting Kansas City Chiefs. Watkins missed practice with a nagging groin issue and was not expected to play. He obviously woke up feeling good on Sunday morning and you can cautiously pencil him into your starting lineup.
Vincent Jackson – Questionable – Vincent Jackson actually made it through a full practice on Friday and is expected to play against the Falcons. The only problem is that the quarterback situation is a disaster in Tampa. Mike Glennon has been benched in favor of Josh McCown and there’s no way to know how he’s going to play this afternoon.
Cecil Shorts – Probable – Cecil Shorts tweaked his hamstring at practice early in the week but was able to return on Friday. He’s getting a ton of targets from Blake Bortles, but is not turning them into any type of meaningful fantasy production.
Harry Douglas – Questionable – Falcons receiver Harry Douglas was limited in practice through out the week. Now that Julio Jones and Roddy White are healthy, he’s pretty much been lost in the shuffle in Atlanta. Tampa is horrible at defending the pass, but Douglas has little upside unless he catches a touchdown.
Fred Jackson – Questionable – Fred Jackson might be listed as questionable, but is expected to play at home this week against the visiting Kansas City Chiefs. Jackson is not up to full speed and may be eased back into a crowded Buffalo backfield. Fantasy owners might want to hold off another week before inserting him back into lineups.
Reggie Bush – Probable – Reggie Bush is healthy again and will make his return against a rugged Miami defense. Bush has managed to play just once since injuring his ankle during a Week 5 loss to the Buffalo Bills even though he’s been declaring himself 100% healthy since Week 7. However, it would be a huge shocker if he did not return today.
Lamar Miller – Questionable (Likely Limited) – Lamar Miller is likely to play a reduced role for the Dolphins on Sunday against a stout Detroit run defense. This leaves fantasy owners in a bind as they grapple with the decision of whether or not to insert Miller into their lineups. Miller was limited in practice all week long, but even if he’s playing hurt, he’s still a much stronger start than Miami’s Daniel Thomas or Damien Williams.
Khiry Robinson – OUT – Pierre Thomas – OUT – The Saints have already ruled out Khiry Robinson and Pierre Thomas for Week 10’s home game against the visiting San Francisco 49ers. This leaves Mark Ingram as the premier back even though he’s dealing with a shoulder injury. This leaves the door open a just a crack for Travaris Cadet who’s very strong at catching the ball out of the backfield.
Montee Ball – Questionable – The Broncos are leaning towards giving running back Montee Ball another week to recover from a groin injury he suffered Week 5 against the Cardinals. Even if Ball were to play, he would be limited in touches behind Ronnie Hillman who has cemented himself into the starting role in Denver. Once he is fully healthy, he will more than likely be the change of pace back for the Broncos.
Rashad Jennings – OUT – Rashad Jennings was back on the practice field this week, but did not make the trip to Seattle with the Giants. Just the fact that he was practicing at all means he will likely be back for Week 11.
Martellus Bennett – Questionable (Night Game) – Martellus Bennett owners are in a fix for Week 10 because the Bears play the night game against the Packers on the road. The Bears are not giving any hints as to whether or not Bennett will play. Fantasy owners are faced with unsavory choice of plugging in a replacement for tonight’s game or hoping that Bennett will play. As for Bennett, he says he will play, but that’s no guarantee he will be in tonight’s lineup.
Owen Daniels – Probable – Ravens tight end Owen Daniels continues to defy expectations and is ready to rock for Week 10’s home tilt against the visiting Tennessee Titans. In a season where reliable tight ends are few and far between, Daniels is practically a must start against a Titans team that is very generous to opposing tight ends.
