Howard had 3 productive college seasons on the ground but didn’t offer much in the passing game. HC John Fox has long favored 2-man backfields and will likely deploy another in 2016. If Howard settles in as the #2 option, he’d likely be looking at 8-10 carries per game — and potentially goal-line work. That could make him a RB3 in non-PPR leagues. If Langford stumbles and cedes the lead job to Howard, the rookie would likely turn into an every-week fantasy starter across formats.
