Colts S Clayton Geathers is expected to play Sunday against the Titans after a little more than a year off for neck surgery, ESPN's Mike Wells reports. Geathers had surgery in March to repair a bulging disc that developed from a collision during a game against Tennessee last November. The Colts expect him to play limited snaps to start.

ESPN reports that Colts S Clayton Geathers will open 2017 on the PUP list because of the neck injury that ended his 2016 campaign. Geathers tried other treatments but eventually required March surgery. He has yet to return to action and now looks like a question mark for 2017 at all. The situation has knocked him from potential sleeper to non-factor in 2017 IDP rankings. Indy enters camp with rookie S Malik Hooker and converted CB Darius Butler the leading candidates to start at safety.
