The Seahawks have placed RB C.J. Prosise (ankle) on IR. He was hobbled by a right ankle injury for most of the season and then hurt his left ankle in last Thursday night's game. Prosise has now appeared in just 11 of 32 games over his first 2 NFL seasons.
Seahawks RB C.J. Prosise is not expected to play against the Colts on Sunday night and is considered "week-to-week" with an ankle injury, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. We don't have any other details on the injury right now. Rapoport says Prosise "had tests" on the ankle earlier this week. Regardless, it's another ailment for a guy who's compiling a lengthy injury history. It's worth noting that Prosise suffered a high-ankle sprain in his final college season in 2015, although it's unclear if this is at all related.
Seahawks RB C.J. Prosise has missed 2 days of practice with a groin strain that he initially suffered in warmups for Saturday's preseason game, according to The News-Tribune. Prosise had an MRI over the weekend, but HC Pete Carroll said it came back negative. The RB has only done some running on the side on the 2 practice days since, however. We'll see if he gets more involved and returns to full action in time for the 3rd preseason game.
