Cardinals RB David Johnson will undergo surgery on his dislocated wrist this week and is expected to be sidelined 2-3 months, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Johnson will be placed on IR but has a chance to be tabbed the "designated-to-return" player. Still, we're looking at a mid-November return -- or somewhere around Week 10 or 11 -- as the best-case scenario.
Cardinals HC Bruce Arians said Monday that RB David Johnson has been diagnosed with a dislocated wrist. He's going for a 2nd opinion on the next course of action. But if the 2nd opinion is the same as the 1st, Johnson will undergo surgery and be placed on IR. He'd still have a shot to return after 8 weeks as the "designated-to-return" player, but even that would obviously be a big blow to fantasy owners.
